The Mnawi Basha Hotel is a 5-star hotel in Basra, Iraq. The hotel opened in 2009. It is one of the few hotels in Iraq that offer high standards of accommodation, and is one of only two high quality lodgings in the province of Basra.
== Facilities & Services ==
The hotel boasts 136 rooms and suites combined and has one restaurant. The following facilities are present at the hotel:

Rates: The current rate (July 4, 2013) is 205 USD for the basic room. Dinner in the evenings is of a high quality and costs 25 dollars.
Food Service: The dinner menu frequently includes fried fish, fried chicken strips, grilled chicken kabobs, rice, lamb, sausages, hummus, olives, a salad, and a variety of cheeses. The lamb is exceedingly fresh, sometimes still alive upon arrival at the hotel. Free breakfast is served in the mornings. The breakfast menu consists of a variety of breads; fried egg whites, fried eggs, and hard-boiled eggs; a menagerie of toppings for the bread are available including peanut butter, several jellies, several cheeses, and tomatoes. Bowls of spices are available.† A major plus is that the hotel is a short walk to the Garden City Restaurant.
